Those who can't afford to go on hajj or umrah can do many good things that are just as good. This is what Allah has given to people so that they can worship him every day and earn great rewards and blessings. Our small acts of worship can give us the same reward as the hajj and umrah. Umrah can be performed after booking cheapest umrah packages from Islamic Travel. Some of these actions include:
Group prayers at the mosque: Allah's Messenger said, "Whoever walks to perform a required prayer in congregation, it is like Hajj, and whoever walks to perform an intended prayer, it is like a voluntary Umrah." With this Hadith, it is clear that the person who goes to all the prayers at the mosque and walks to the mosque to pray on their own has the same rewards as someone who goes on Hajj or Umrah. So, if we just pray five times a day and do Sunnah prayers like the Dhuha prayer at the mosque, we can get the same reward as if we went on Hajj or Umrah. This is the beauty of Islam: even if you don't have enough money to go to the house of Allah, you can still pray every day and get the same blessings and rewards as a pilgrim.
Fajr prayer with a group: One thing that gives the same reward as Hajj and Umrah is praying Fajr in a group and then staying in the mosque and saying Zikr of Allah SWT until sunrise so you can pray Dhuha. This act of worship will give you the same reward as a pilgrim who goes to the house of Allah Almighty to do Hajj and Umrah. The Messenger of Allah SWT said, "Whoever prays Fajr in a group, then sits and thinks about Allah until dawn, then prays two Rakas, will get the rewards of doing both Hajj and Umrah." He said this three times.
Zikr after daily prayers: If you have a good reason for not being able to do Hajj or Umrah, you can make up for it by saying Zikr after every prayer. This is a Shariah-approved replacement for Hajj and Umrah. After the five daily prayers, the words that remind you of Allah Almighty can bring you closer to your God. Hazrat Abu Huraira RA said that a group of poor people came to the Prophet pbuh and said, "Oh, Allah's Messenger, the rich will have better jobs and enjoy themselves forever on higher levels in Jannah. They pray and fast just like us, but they have more money so they can do Hajj, Umrah, give to Jihad, and give to charity. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) replied, "Shall I not tell you something that if you did it, you would catch up with those who are ahead of you, nobody would be ahead of you, and you would be better than the people you can live with, except for those who would do the same thing?" Say Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar 33 times after every required prayer. Abu Ad-Darbaa also said that a group of Muslims came to the Prophet PBUH and told him, "Oh Allah's Messenger, the rich will get better grades and rewards. They have enough money to do Hajj, but we can't afford it. They help pay for Jihad, but we can't afford that either." The Messenger of Allah answered, "Shall I not tell you something that, if you did it, would make you the same as those who are better than you?" Say Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar 33 times after every required prayer.
Prayers in Quba Mosque: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "One who cleans himself at Allah's house and then goes to the Quba mosque to pray will get the same reward as one who does Umrah." He (PBUH) also said, "Praying in the mosque of Quba is like doing Umrah." On another occasion, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Anyone who goes to the mosque of Banu 'Amr Ibn' Awf, the mosque of Quba, with the intention of praying there, will get an Umrah reward."
Hazrat Ayesha Bint Saad Ibn Abi Waqs RA said, "I heard my father say that it is better for me to do two Rakas in the Quba mosque than to go to the Al-Aqsa mosque twice." If people only knew how good it was to pray at Masjid Quba, they'd fight over it." It was the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH to go to Masjid Quba, where Allah SWT told the Prophet PBUH, "There are men there who love to clean themselves, and Allah loves those who clean themselves." But keep in mind that praying in Masjid Quba is not the same as Hajj or Umrah, so you don't have to travel just for that. At another time, Allah's Messenger said, "O people of Quba, Allah is pleased with your purity."
Ibn Rajab said, "A good man saw a hajji moving toward Makkah. He said with tears in his eyes, "How thin I am!" If you let me watch your show, I promise to treat you like a slave. He took a deep breath and said, "This is the sadness and pain of a person who can't go to the Kabah. How much worse will the sadness and pain be for someone who can't hold the Lord of the Kabah?" Al-Hafith Ibn Rajab (RA) said, "Brothers, if you weren't allowed to do Hajj this year, turn inward and be patient." It means that if someone can't do the rituals of Hajj, missed Hajj this year, or is far away from Kabah, they shouldn't sin because they are not far from the mercy of their Lord. Eid is a gift from God to all people after a 30-day fast. Eid is a happy and joyous holiday, and people who pray on Eid at the end of Ramadan get a reward from their Lord, who is the most merciful and helpful of all. The reward for going to both Eid prayers is the same as the reward for doing both the Hajj and the Umrah. So, you should cry and ask God to let you visit His Holy Land. While you wait for your turn, you can earn the same rewards as Hajj and Umrah by doing these acts of worship.
